happy sugar season, sweetie! 🍯
your sugaring results not only rely on my skill, but they rely heavily on your home care! sugaring is an investment so lets review some aftercare, shall we?
- ‼️no workouts, pools, hot tubs, s*x, or sauna for 48 hours! why? your pores are open! filling them with sweat and chemicals is just begging for ingrown hairs. your skin is freshly exfoliated, friction is a no-go.
- exfoliation 2/3 times a week. this keeps the dead skin out of the way so your new baby hairs can pop through the skin easier.
- moisturizing! keeping the skin soft and hydrated also helps those fresh hairs get through easier.
- epsom salt baths or soaks! if you are ingrown prone, this is one of the first recommendations. a 20 min soak can help clear up your skin and prevent new spots from becoming irritated.
