Conclusions from the study:

“Results indicate that structured strength and conditioning programs combined with chiropractic adjustments significantly enhance adolescent athletes’ physical performance.”

“The study concludes that consistent chiropractic care and professionally supervised training are beneficial for adolescent athletes’ development, suggesting the integration of such programs into training routines for adolescent athletes would improve their physical capabilities and minimize injury risks.”

“Our study results indicated that athletes who were professionally trained for three months combined with chiropractic care could have a significant improvement in their general strength, muscular endurance, speed, and agility compared with a control group that only showed a minor improvement in each category.”

Chiropractic care is an integral part of an athletes training and recovery program. We can help with pain, but we also help prevent injury and significantly improve performance.

What you need to know:

Exercise and movement from your joints and muscles fire sensory receptors, these sensors communicate with neurons in your brain that not only coordinate movement but also control and coordinate executive functions. This is important because your executive functions allow you to plan and prioritize, initiate tasks, regulate your emotions, learn and manage daily life.

The stimulation that your brain receives from movement is a biological requirement to maintain healthy structure and function. The brain related protective effects of exercise are profound.

Physical activity and exercise are dose responsive, the more you give, the more you get. But you do not have to run marathons to receive impactful benefit. Some is unequivocally better than none.

This study found significant benefit in individuals that just implemented more walking into their daily routine.

How can you implement more movement into your day to protect your brain??

Amelia Rock has been a competitive gymnast since she was 8 years old. She has worked tirelessly to overcome many challenges during her time in club sports. Her stick-to-itiveness has led her to win multiple state and regional titles and earned her a spot on the University of Arizona gymnastics team representing Block A!

She says, “Chiropractic care has made a huge difference for me. As a gymnast, I push my body to its limits, and recovery is key to avoiding injuries. I initially came to Limitless Chiropractic for a whole body tune-up and to work out the little aches and pains that come with gymnastics. After my first session, I could already feel a difference in my mobility and pain levels. Regular adjustments help keep my spine aligned, improve my posture, and reduce muscle tension. It’s also helped with my flexibility, which is important for safely performing skills. Chiropractic care has allowed me to train longer and recover faster, and I feel more energized and balanced in my day-to-day life.
The biggest reason I keep coming back to Limitless Chiropractic is how much better I feel after every visit. Dr. Mike is so knowledgeable, and I appreciate how he tailors each treatment to my needs. It’s not just about getting rid of pain but also about improving my overall movement patterns and performance. I’m able to function at a much higher level, both in and out of the gym.

I’m grateful for the care I’ve received at Limitless Chiropractic. It’s become a key part of my recovery routine, and I can honestly say I feel more confident and stronger as an athlete because of it.”

Athletes, your body is your greatest asset! Chiropractic care enhances mobility and helps prevent injuries so you can perform at your peak. Regular adjustments support optimal performance and faster recovery. Take care of your body—it’s your winning edge!
