State 2023 💫

We had an amazing time in Yakima last weekend competing against the best teams from across Washington state and making memories as a team! We can’t wait to see what next competition season holds 💜

SHS Dance is headed to state! We are so proud of all the hard work put in by our dancers to get to this point and thankful for our amazing coaches! Special thanks to Coach Jenny & Abby Schwendeman for choreographing our lyrical routine. Sumner Dance will compete at state on March 25th at the Sun Dome in Yakima!

Sumner High School Dance Team tryouts are just around the corner! The SHS Dance Team performs at football games in the fall, attends parades with the SHS Band, and performs at other community/school events. Dance Team provides a unique opportunity to support your school & community, grow as a dancer & athlete, and build friendships that’ll last a lifetime.
