The Texas Supreme Court issued its opinion on June 9, 2023, in the case of City of League City, Texas v. Jimmy Changas, Inc. (https://www.txcourts.gov/.../order.../2023/june/june-9-2023/) in which the Court cited my first appellate win in Texas, that is: City of Houston v. S.W. Concrete Constr., Inc., 835 S.W.2d 728 (Tex. App.—Houston [14th Dist.] 1992, writ denied). I was the successful trial counsel in the jury trial and and successful as appellate counsel on appeal. It is a nice feeling!

My nephew, Dylan Cease, a starting pitcher for the Chicago White Sox is a Cy Young finalist.
