Happy Holidays from all of us here at TRP! Together, we: broke up concrete, built healthy soils, planted 1000s of native plants, built 50 parkway basins & began retrofits on 20 homes that will capture rain, sequester CO2, build biodiversity & mitigate flood risk in LA. We delivered 18 hands-on Water LA workshops & facilitated community participation for the Upper LA River & Tributaries Plan. We advocated for the establishment of a Climate Emergency Mobilization Dep. & an Office of Racial Equity, & helped shape the County’s Sustainability Plan. In the new year, we will continue to engage in collaborative action to support a climate-resilient future for LA – one that is regenerative, equitable, & just. Join us as we prepare LA to adapt and thrive through 21st century challenges & into this new decade.
