Last week, MEMF Co-Founders Marta Eliza Miller and Corrina Clover Miller visited Arkansas Children’s Hospital as part of our National Scoliosis Awareness Month Grant Initiative. During our visit, the Marta Eliza Miller Foundation proudly presented Arkansas Children's with a $10,000 grant to support scoliosis awareness and research.

Founded more than 100 years ago by Emma Hannaford as a children’s orphanage, Arkansas Children’s has grown into an extraordinary institution dedicated to improving the lives of children and families.

We had the opportunity to tour the Pediatric Orthopedic Department, where we saw the new EOS low-dose imaging system (pictured), the casting room and Risser frame used to create scoliosis braces, and the impressive Sports Rehabilitation Center that serves orthopedic patients (pictured).

We were inspired by the commitment and innovation that we witnessed throughout the hospital and are grateful for the warm welcome extended by the Arkansas Children’s team.

MEMF looks forward to building on this relationship and supporting future collaborations with Arkansas Children’s Hospital as we continue our mission to advance scoliosis awareness, research, education, and care for children across the country. ✨
