I had an amazing time on Sunday celebrating Volume 2! I am honored to have been scouted with the who’s who of business on the Treasure Coast. Books arrive to my shop this week. Come see my feature!

I wasn’t able to fit all of the before and after’s in the first post, so here are some more! I really loved this project and I am so happy that you all seem to love it too. Come to the store and shop, or if you see anything in the pictures, I can do it to your house too! 😊

Here’s the long story, long. I had a customer call and ask if I was interested in decorating her trailer. I was immediatly curious and went to see it the next day. It needed a lot of help and I knew straight away that this could be the sweetest little jewel box. We named her first, as we do, then I picked the exterior color to match the bouganvilleas that surround the trailer. I painted the clamshells (aluminum trailer shutters) in a cabana stripe to bring that retro Florida vibe. The interior was filled with oversized grey and dark furniture and it made the space seem crownded and dated. I used vintage pieces, bright colors and patterns, remnant fabrics, inexpensive jute rugs and a LOT of DIY. The really fun part is that the client wanted it to be a surprise when she got here! She came in the shop and loved everything, so she trusted me and I got to design it how I pleased. It was a much larger undertaking than I originally thought (3 months turned into a year) but also the most amazing learning experience for me. I wanted to take my time to carefully select pieces and make it perfect for them. I could not be happier with how it turned out and my wonderful client was thrilled!

Mount Dora is the most charming town just outside of Orlando. We had the loveliest stay at Lakeside Inn. The people, food and charm were worth a visit whether antiquing or not. Watch for the gators, really. 3 days of non-stop finds, road food, coffee, cocktails and emptying and repacking the van every new stop…🌴
