FINE ART EXHIBITION: ARTIST FEATURE

Our Fine Art Exhibition & Open House is Saturday, November 15th, 2025 from 10 AM to 5 PM. We're hosting 16+ professional artists, specializing in a variety of mediums, styles and themes! Today, we'd like to introduce our musicians for that day, Cris & Alex !

Cris & Alex are a local sister duo, performing a mix of 80s and 90s, as well as original music. They’re also members of the indie rock band Sandman Sleeps, which formed back in 2019 and are currently recording their second album.

FINE ART EXHIBITION: ARTIST FEATURE

Our Fine Art Exhibition & Open House is Saturday, November 15th, 2025 from 10 AM to 5 PM. We're hosting 16+ professional artists, specializing in a variety of mediums, styles and themes! Today, we'd like to introduce one of these amazing artists, Julia Gabrielov !

"Story telling is a passion that resonates within everything I do. Whether it is realism, animation, or garment making, I desire to share a fantasy world with my audience. That is why I love painting series."

Julia Gabrielov was born in Kharkov Ukraine in 1986. At the age of 2, her parents immigrated to the United States with her and her grandparents. From a young age it was apparent that Julia had an affinity for art. She would spend hours upon hours drawing with her mom in their tiny Brooklynn apartment. Growing up in Virginia, she loved taking art classes, but creating came naturally. The desire to explore new mediums has taken her career in many different directions. As a model and cosplayer for almost ten years, Julia became enthralled in the fashion and costume industries. She would make clothing for photoshoots, style hair and makeup, and discover beautiful settings to create the perfect image.

In 2010 Julia's passion for storytelling evolved into a profession as a children's book illustrator. Her works include the "Under The Tree" series, the "Franklin Bean" series, and the most recent "Baby From The Moon". In between jobs, Julia would write and illustrate her own short stories. Those stories soon evolved into stand alone images. She knew that whether or not there were words, each image had to tell a story.

By the end of 2013, the dream of becoming a full time artist was turning into a reality. Utilizing social media platforms and joining international art collectives boosted her audience and opened many doors. She began showing in galleries and was recognized in publications all around the world.

In 2020, Julia's work was recognized by the International Festival of the Arts in Walt Disney World. For the past five years, Julia has had the privilege of showing her work to hundreds of thousands of people at the festival.

Julia's style has undergone many transitions, from anime to hyperrealism. Practicing many different genres has influenced her technique, as well as imagination. Working mainly in oil paint and pan pastel, she creates surreal pieces inspired by her love of creation and fantasy. Each muse conveys hopeful messages entrenched in the beauty of the natural world.
