Riff A or Riff B?

One of many songs I'm writing for my "new song every 2 weeks" project. A great exercise in non-attachment .... Many may never see the light of day.

Terra Fermata Tiki Bar open mic last night was wild! I got to:

1) Play 2 originals ("Unchained Manatee", currently recording, plus my newest "Venus Clouds")

2) Unexpectedly joined a 2-song Metallica performance (thanks Nick!). Hadn't played "For Whom the Bell Tolls" or "Creeping Death" in literal years (decades?) but remembered ~95% of the notes 🤣
