~Strengthen your speech and cognition
~Reconnect with your life, your people, and your purpose
You are more than your diagnosis.

After a stroke, communication can change in many ways.
Some stroke survivors may experience aphasia, which can make it hard to find the right words, understand language, read, or write. Others may have slurred speech, where they know what they want to say, but the words may not come out clearly.
With patience, support, and speech therapy, stroke survivors can work toward rebuilding communication, clarity, and confidence one step at a time.
Be patient. Give them time. Listen with compassion.
If you or a loved one is having difficulty communicating after a stroke, we’re here to help. Book a consultation to learn how speech therapy can support recovery.

Difficulty swallowing can affect so much more than mealtimes.
For some adults, swallowing changes may show up as coughing during meals, avoiding certain foods, feeling like food is sticking in the throat, weight loss, recurring pneumonia, or fear around eating and drinking.
At SpeechRx, we use evidence-based swallowing evaluations and therapy to help patients and families better understand what’s happening — and what can be done to improve safety, comfort, and confidence.
One of the tools we use is FEES, a swallowing assessment that allows us to view the throat during swallowing so we can make a more informed diagnosis and functional recommendations.
Because when eating and drinking become stressful, patients deserve answers, support, and a plan.

Head and neck cancer treatment can leave lasting changes in the body — including changes to swallowing, voice, mouth movement, saliva, tissue flexibility, and comfort with eating or speaking.
Speech therapy plays an important role in helping patients manage those changes.
At SpeechRx, we support adults after head and neck cancer treatment with individualized evaluation, therapy, education, and strategies designed around each patient’s needs and goals.
The work is not just clinical — it’s personal.
It’s about helping someone return to conversations, meals, and daily moments with more confidence.
