Well unfortunately I guess you can have just adequate burgers at a place that has burger in their name. We had been wanting to try this place for a while now and we finally made the time to go. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was strangely empty for the time. The atmosphere was inviting, clean and open. Only critique on the decor was there was too many TVs and lotto machines. I truly hate seeing TVs in restaurants because it takes away from the whole reason you go out; to socialize and spend time with one another.
We ordered a cheeseburger and the combo onion rings and fries to share. The burger was fine. We both said we would rather a burger from Culvers over this one. The bun got so soggy and wasn't able to sustain the burger. The onion rings were the best part of the meal. Nice and light batter with a crunchy exterior. The fries were hand cut but soggy. For how slow they were, you would think they could have taken the time to make sure the fries were fried properly.
Overall, not too impressed. Wasn't worth the drive to Elgin when we could go somewhere closer for a better burger. They also had extravagant shakes but we couldn't try those. If you want a tasty burger with crispy fries, just come to our house and Cody can make you one 🍔🍟

Hey Honest Eaters!
Sorry for being away for so long!
To get back into the swing of things I wanted to throw a recommendation up for all of you that shop at Aldi.
They have a brand product line called:
Park Street Deli
It can be found in the cooler section.
We have tried 4 things in that line of products:
Roasted red pepper hummus - better than sabra for sure due to the red pepper being distributed all throughout
Brownie batter dessert hummus - this is an interesting experience because it tastes like chocolate but has hummus texture. We eat it with nilla waffers and it works.
Sweet horseradish pickles - smooth cut, good crunch but lacking in the "sweet element". If you like horseradish and pickles this is for you!
Atomic spicy pickles - crinkle cut, good crunch but wow they are spicy by them selves! But we tried them on burgers the other day and they are way better on something than alone that's for sure.
We will be on the look out for other products from Park Street Deli at Aldi, if you guys find some before us let us know!
We are here to eat and have a good time!
