In the gross room, you quickly learn that some X-rays tell the whole story. A specimen that doesn’t look like much at first… then the image reveals what’s really going on. KUBTEC and AAPA are inviting Pathologists’ Assistants to submit their best X-ray images for the 2026 X-ray Photo Competition, real cases from the work you do every day.
This is about the images you actually use in practice:
• the ones that help you work through a tough case
• the ones you pull up to explain something to a colleague or resident
• the ones that change how you understand a specimen
