🚩The People’s Liberation Army Navy test fired a launched ballistic missile from the South China Sea to the Pacific Ocean, as part of an annual naval drill with Russia.
The Chinese military did not provide details of the launch, nor identify the submarine, the location of the launch and the SLBM type fired. The PLAN operates six Type 094 nuclear powered ballistic missile submarines and a single Type 032 diesel electric submarine used for SLBM testing. The PLAN’s main SLBM is the JL-2 SLBM.
