Hello town friends! As a concerned resident in this time of staying in because of the Covid 19 virus, I realized that we could perhaps help the town and the state know more clearly the health situation in our town.

The Patch reported today that there are no confirmed cases of Covid 19 in Stoneham. The Boston Globe says there are likely many times more than the 218 cases that are reported to be confirmed in MA.

Considering that I was told by my own P*P that even if I have symptoms (cough, fever, etc.) I could not get a test at her office, I'm guessing there are others who have also run into this situation, of having some symptoms, but not being "counted" in any way.

Would you (Stoneham residents only) be willing to share if you or members in your household are experiencing any of the symptoms of the virus (even if it might not be - could be the flu or even allergies)? If you're willing to share, please simply respond by typing the number of how many in your household have symptoms, or have had symptoms in the last few weeks. If you prefer to keep it more private, send a private message. I'd like to be able to tally over the next few days and report to the town some relevant information.

And please, if you are in severe need, please call your doctor!

While we're at it, let's also offer to be here for each other during this time. If there's something you need, please post, and let's see if we can find someone to help.
