Two Dismissed for Financial matter and Administrative Issues, At Kolu Sokodolo Foundation.
Two Officials of Kolu Sokodolo Foundation have been dismissed over financial matter and Administrative Issues.

Harbel Firestone - The Kolu Sokodolo Children Foundation has dismissed two of its Officials over allegations of financial irregularities and Administrative misconduct.
The two Officials are Monue Shine Gbelemah Country Director and Robert Sankoloe jr. register.
The dismissal were communicated to in letters under the signature of the founder and chief executive officer of the Foundation, Madam Kolu Sokodolo Walters.
Communications dated May 30, 2025, which copies are in the possession of STONE FM, stated that the decision follow the two Officials repeated failure to comply with scheduled internal audits commissioned by the foundation and provide required documents and organizational assets.
The communications further stated that Gbelemah deliberately refused to appear for three audits initiated by the foundation scheduled to have taken place on May 2, 10 and 19, 2025 respectively.
The press release is quoted as saying, both officials ( Monue Shine Gbelemah and Robert Sankoloe jr.) allegedly refused to submit necessary financial records and materials needed to assess the foundation's operations.
The communications also explained that the audits were meant to promote transparency, accountability and optimized resources untilization in the organization.
The Kolu Sokodolo Children Foundation International was established in 2015 with the goals of providing education support for underprivileged children and providing empowerment for vulnerable women including widows.
According to the communications, Gbelemah was early suspended in April of 2025 over payroll issues and alleged disrespect toward the CEO.
"His refusal to provide clear and financial records could compromise institution's financial integrity to donors and hider the institution from doing what we are doing in Liberia the communications further" said.
But in a recent press statement released by Monue Shine Gbelemah, described the press statement issued by the foundation as a statement of drak cloud intended to damage his hard earned characters built over the years in Margibi County and Liberia.
Detailing his involvement with the Kolu Sokodolo Foundation Shine Gbelemah said he came in contact with the foundation through his wife who is a sister to Kolu Sokodolo Walters CEO of the foundation who is in the United States.
He said in the release that in August of 2018,he met Madam Walters through his wife while preparing their wedding and asked him for his help in reviving her dormant foundation.
Monue Shine Gbelemah further explained in the release that he initially hesitateed due to the lack of experience, but later accepted the role as country coordinator in October of 2018.
Gbelemah also detailed that Madam Walters later asked him to take on the position of National President after the previous President; Idrissa Paul Banguar resigned his role.
He indicated that after taking on the role as President, he discovered that the organization's legal documents were not in place and began restructuring the foundation with the help of a contact he has at the Ministry of Financial and Development Planning.
Shine Gbelemah further said in his press statement that, in 2019 he had a vision of working with children in the education sector, after realizing that education was a challenge for many kids and their parents in communities that he has previously worked in Lower Margibi County.
The press release further quoted Gbelemah that, after a search for a suitable place, they found a building around the R. S Coalfield Public School in Unification Town and agreed to name the school "Kolu Sokodolo International Academy ".
In the statement, Shine Gbelemah expressed disappointment in some of his staff who he worked with over last six years indicating that they were the one behind the everything that was happening at the foundation.
The release continue, that Madam Walters wanted the school to be a tuition free, covering Teachers' and staff salaries, while students registration fees would handle daily operations.
Detailing the issues of the audits and achievement, Gbelemah said he refused to accept an audit citing concerns of bias and requested neutral auditors, "I have all legal documents in my procession and Am prepare for a genuine audit".
Monue Shine Gbelemah further said he submitted several reports including hard copies of documents to Madam Walters' husband when he came to Liberia and email her 2023 school report, alleging that the six awards won by Madam Kolu Sokodolo Walters in the US was as the result of his hard work in Liberia over the last six years.
Gbelemah, in the statement argued that Madam Walters did not give him a clear plans or roadmap of the foundation.
