This past September 13th marked our third annual Happy Chemicals Community Event! ☀️Families gathered at KIPP Middle School to unwind and nourish their minds with some fun, end-of-summer entertainment – including Zumba, haircuts, ski ball, jumpy houses and more, all free to the public! 🎉 We crowned ski-ball tournament champs and raffle winners and shared resources on urban development, food security, physical/mental/dental health.
Community members enjoyed free food provided by Don Rafa’s, unlimited shaved ice from Sweet & Snow, and vibes by DJ SAB 🎶🕺

A huge shoutout to Housing Authority for their book donations and HealthNet for their backpack donations. 🫶We also thank our partners and volunteers at NCC Youth • San Joaquin County Department of Child Support Services • HealthNet, Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program • The Amelia Ann Adams Whole Life Center • North Valley Labor Federation • Child Abuse Prevention Council of SJC • CSU Stanislaus- Stockton Campus • KIPP Public Schools • Public Health Advocates • and LMR’s DAWN and Youth Programs for their immense support. 💪💛
