🗣️ “I’M TAKING IT ALL BACK!”
What a powerful word the Lord released through Pastor Zan on Sunday from 📖 1 Samuel 30:1–8, 18–20.
David faced one of the darkest moments of his life. His city had been destroyed, his family taken captive, and even the men who stood beside him turned against him. Yet David showed us what to do when life knocks us down.
1️⃣ He shed some tears.
There is nothing wrong with grieving. Tears are not a sign of weakness—they’re part of the healing process. But don’t allow hurt to cause you to blame others. Instead, ask God, “Lord, what are You doing in me? What can I do to change?”
2️⃣ He sought the Lord.
The Bible says David encouraged himself in the Lord. There will be seasons when you have to speak God’s promises over your own life. Your victory is not determined by your feelings—it is determined by your faith.
3️⃣ He believed God’s promise: “You shall surely recover all.” (1 Samuel 30:8)
Not everyone who starts the journey with you will finish it with you, but don’t let that stop your pursuit. When God tells you to pursue, He has already prepared your victory.
Today, we declare:
✨ We’re taking our peace back.
✨ We’re taking our joy back.
✨ We’re taking our families back.
✨ We’re taking our purpose back.
✨ We’re taking everything the enemy thought he had stolen!
The same God who restored David is still restoring His people today. Whatever you’ve lost, don’t give up. Seek the Lord, encourage yourself, pursue what God has promised, and trust that you shall recover it all!
“Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.” — 1 Samuel 30:8

What happens when the Word takes root?
Hearts are healed.
Relationships are restored.
Tears become testimonies.
And the people of God leave encouraged.
After a powerful message from 1 Samuel 30, our church family embraced one another in love, prayer, and encouragement. These moments remind us that church is more than a building—it’s a family.
Some came carrying heavy burdens.
Some came needing strength.
Some came needing to know they weren’t alone.
Before they left, they were reminded:
✨ Encourage yourself in the Lord.
✨ Pursue what God has promised.
✨ Stand on your faith, not your feelings.
✨ You shall surely recover all!
There is something powerful about a hug from someone who’s been praying for you, a word of encouragement from a brother or sister in Christ, and knowing that God is still restoring everything the enemy tried to steal.
We believe God is restoring peace. Restoring joy. Restoring families. Restoring purpose. Restoring hope.
“And David recovered all…” — 1 Samuel 30:18

The serious faces… the fixing of the hair… the wardrobe adjustments… the laughing… the “Don’t do that!” looks… and then finally… BOOM! 😍❤️
That’s marriage.
Not perfection… but choosing each other over and over again until you get it right. ❤️
Pastor Zan and Lady Stanford, thank you for showing us that love can still laugh, still play, still smile, and still honor God after 21 years. Watching you two together is a reminder that marriage is a ministry, and if I’m being honest… Y’ALL ARE GOALS! 🥹🙌🏾
