We are saying Goodbye to Omi Grace. It's time to say hello to something new. Not quite yet though. Soon.

All is not over for me. Or my art. I think we are all pretty clear on that by now. But I hope you'll stay on this journey with me.

In the interim, read them emails for the whys and the what's next AND how you can help make room for what's to come. I'm going to try to make it worth it for you.

Know that while I am very much excited for what is next, Omi is very near and dear to my heart and I'mma cry n s**t, okay?

It's "late" if you believe in time or whatever. But I don't. And even if I did, its on time cuz it is still today... whatever that means. 😁

Happy 3rd Anniversary to ! 🥳 It is one of my proudest moments because for somebody who will definitely be like "I don't like this. I don't wanna do this anymore," I often felt like I lacked discipline. I discovered, through this project, that that's only partly true. 🤣 This proved to me I could dedicate myself to a task...if I wanted to. 😉 And it wasn't easy, so I know that isn't the deciding factor. I didn't struggle because the work was challenging. Ya girl was just having a hard time. And even then...I would be at the table crying into these canvases. Because I had a f**king plan! And I was going to finish. So I did what was necessary - then finished a week early!

When I look at these pics of myself, from such a short time ago, I don't even see the same woman. And I'm glad about it. Grateful. That I'm in a new space. A space better suited for me. Who I am now. Who I want to be in the now of the future. I'm also glad that I was able to give myself some proof that I could commit to a thing...if I want to. And really that's the key for me. IF. EYE. WANT. TO.

P.S. I don't ever wanna paint another Minnie. Ever.

Now that I'm completing most of my art in a digital space, I have been making regular trips to the photo printer so I can hold/see the finished product. It is a new experience for me. And I like it. I be so excited to have our first moments together. Most of the time, it be good.

This is one of my favs, so far. So much expression and the colors came out so good. Messed round and impressed myself.

Now I gotta name her.
