Gorge Thrift

Someone on Facebook recently asked if the Gorge Thrift Store actually benefits the local community of Stevenson and surrounding area. It occurred to me that if someone can ask that question that we need to make a public statement. The past three owners of this store (myself and Margie Smith included) have very generously donated to the homeless, domestic violence cases and people who just need it. We have a strong commitment to helping those in need. Stevenson is a small town. It occurred to me shortly after taking possession of the store that Stevenson needs a low cost thrift store. We believe that providing low cost high quality second hand goods is of critical importance to the City of Stevenson. Please donate whatever you can afford. You can rest assured that by doing so you are providing a service to the local community that is beyond measure. We would like to thank the residents of Stevenson, Carson, North Bonneville and surrounding areas personally for your continued patronage and business so we can continue providing a high quality charitable service to the community at large.
