The gardens and pathways at Wind Mountain Ranch are inspired by the way our landscapes and plants naturally exist together. Layers of grasses, trees, native greens and colors overlapping one another until it becomes difficult to tell where one ends and the next begins.

We’ve named our planting philosophy “Western Thicket,” and it’s become the heart of all of our landscape design choices at the ranch.

Less of a formal design plan, more of a feeling. Movement. Layers. Growth. A place that invites you to wander within and far beyond, where you feel surrounded by vast landscape and enchanted by lush intimacy all at once 🌾🌝
