If this season had a motto, it'd be simple:
Trial by fire.
My first workamping position.
New camper.
New truck.
New engine in that truck.
And a campground that feels less like a campground and more like a small city.
600+ sites.
A lake.
Aquapark.
Mini golf.
Pool.
Tiki bar.
Bar and grill.
Camp store.
Canoes.
Kayaks.
Thousands of guests.
Thousands of moving parts.
Most people have a job title.
I've got a collection.
During the week, I'm maintenance.
On the weekends, I'm security.
Sometimes I'm bartending.
Sometimes I'm handling problems nobody planned for.
Sometimes I'm just the guy willing to step up when something needs done.
Then I clock out and go build my own dreams.
Laser engraving.
3D printing.
Custom signs.
Liquor bottle lamps.
Memorial pieces.
Whatever challenge catches my attention next.
Some people spend their lives trying to avoid hard things.
This season seems determined to throw every hard thing it can find directly at me.
And honestly?
I'm okay with that.
Because every broken machine, every long shift, every emergency, every late night project, every new skill learned, every obstacle overcome adds another layer to the story.
Not a story about comfort.
A story about growth.
About becoming the kind of man who can walk into chaos and calmly ask:
"Alright... what needs done?"
And then get to work.

Maintenance. Security. Bartender. Maker. Problem solver. Still standing. Still learning. Still earning every mile. š„šļøš»āļøš ļøšŗšø
One month in.
New ground. New rhythm. New scars.
Got settled down by the lake⦠the kind of spot that reminds you why you chose this road in the first place. Quiet mornings. Water that doesnāt care about your problems. The kind of peace you earn, not inherit.
And thenālife swung. AGAIN.
Truck went down. Hard.
Diagnosis? New engine.
Most people would call that bad luck.
But hereās the twistā¦
I donāt get buried. I get backed.
Warranty stepped in like a silent bodyguard and just covered a $5k hit like it was nothing. This is after the warranty on my rig stepped in and covered a $3k fridge and $3k furnace. š Thatās not luck. Thatās preparation meeting reality.
Out here, you donāt just survive by grindingā¦
You survive by thinking ahead when things are calm, so you donāt drown when theyāre not.
One month down in this new chapter, and itās already tested the foundation.
Still standing. Still moving. Still building.
Forged by Miles isnāt about smooth roads.
Itās about the miles that try to break you⦠and the decisions that keep you unbreakable. š„
