Motherhood is one of the most difficult, rewarding, messy, and beautiful things I have ever done.

It changes you in ways you never expected, and challenges you in ways you truly can’t understand until you’re right there in the thick of it, covered in snacks, running on fumes, loving harder than you ever thought possible.

Today I’m thinking of all the mothers out there. The ones in the chaos. The ones soaking it in. The ones who make it look easy even when it absolutely is not. The women longing to be mothers. The mothers missing their babies. The ones missing their own moms. Mother’s Day can hold so much beauty and so much ache all at once.

And I couldn’t let today pass without sharing another little sneak peek of this beautiful momma.

Nichole, you embody so much of the beauty of motherhood, and your kiddos brought the perfect amount of love, laughter, and absolute chaos to this session. Exactly as it should be. Your family is so stinking precious, and that sweet baby bump is the cherry on top.

This was such a sweet session with Nichole 🤍 Baby #4 is due on the 14th, and somehow we squeezed in her VERY first maternity session last minute with almost no planning, just a casual “come on over and let’s see what we get” kind of afternoon at home.

And honestly? It was perfect.

No pressure. No big production. Just a beautiful momma loving on her babies exactly where she’s at in this season of life.
