Welcome back to our "Meet the Owner" series, where we spotlight the owners of our Downtown Businesses!

Today, we're introducing Connie, the owner of Turquoise on Main, located at 1201 Main Street in Downtown Stevens Point. Connie opened her charming store in July 2020, right in the midst of the pandemic, when the space became available. She’s created a beautiful, curated trove of home accessories, decor, and gifts with something for everyone!

Connie shared a fun story about the store’s past: “One thing I love when people come in and they say ‘This used to be a record shop! I used to buy my 45s here. We used to take music lessons in the basement.’ I love the history I hear about this building”.

“I love to being on Main Street because of the charm and quaintness of being Downtown. It’s something special. The people are wonderful, and I love all the other businesses around here. We’ve got such a great variety of gift shops, restaurants, bookstores—everything you could want. It’s great.”
