♥️We’re feeling incredibly grateful today. ❤️
Thanks to your nominations and votes, Legacy Family Restaurant has once again been named Best of the Best – Best Overall Restaurant in Portage County for 2026—our third year in a row?! EEKS!?
Along with THAT incredible honor, you voted Legacy into a whole collection of winning categories and recognized us with multiple runner-up awards. Every single vote represents someone who chose to support our restaurant, our staff, our food, and this chaotic (ok, let's be real: our hot mess express!?) community we continue building together—and we do not take that support for granted.
Awards are exciting, but what they represent means even more: the guests who continue walking through our doors, bringing their families and friends, sharing our posts, recommending us, trusting us with celebrations, and allowing us to keep growing and improving.
Legacy runs on an incredibly hardworking team (that is powered by caffine + sarcasm) and is wholly supported by a community that has shown up for us again and again?! We know there are many wonderful local businesses deserving of recognition, which makes being chosen by all of you especially amazing!!

Keenan helped me edit this video. (I've been struggling for 3 days and finally gave up and asked an expert/teenager.)
Then he left.
Then I touched things.
So... if you're watching this thinking, "Heather, what happened here?" ... just know I asked myself the same question. 😂
Anyway... here's the point, despite the sketchy, not-perfect video.
When I look through the people reacting to our posts, I notice something surprising: A lot of people enjoy our content enough to react to it... but they aren't actually following our page.
Following a local business is one of the easiest (and completely free) ways to support them. Every follow, like, comment, and share helps Facebook show that business to more people in our community.
So today, I'm asking you to take just a minute and make sure you're following your favorite local businesses—not just Legacy, but all of us: Restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, salons, mechanics... the places you love.
It only takes a second, but it makes a much bigger difference than most people realize.
Now... if you'll excuse me, I have to go apologize to Keenan for whatever I did to his well edited video. 🤦♀️

Alright guys, here we go again!!
The flags are out, the grills are heating up, and somehow it's almost the 4th of July!?
We've put together another fun menu filled with some summer favorites, a couple over-the-top creations, and enough comfort food to fuel a full day of parades, family gatherings, lake trips, and fireworks- Dine in or take it to go!!
Whether you're kicking off the holiday with breakfast, stopping in between adventures, or looking for an excuse to let somebody else do the cooking for once, we'd love to see you.

Father's Day is officially in the books. Ish. We're mostly cleaned up, breakfast is on the horizon & we're pretty excited, lol.
Seriously though: to everyone who chose to spend part of your day with us today, thank you. We are incredibly grateful for the support of this community, our friends, our families, and every guest who walked through our doors, waited in lines, and ate here today!!
Days like today take our entire team working together behind the scenes for days on end, and we couldn't do it without all of you. Your patience, kindness, and continued support mean more than you know.
From all of us at Legacy, thank you for making us part of your Father's Day celebration. We are truly blessed to serve this community, not just today, but every day?! ❤️
*Now, if you'll excuse us, we're going to go put our feet up for a little while... maybe a long while...I think naps are in order: from our 86 year old host to our 15 year old coffee girl: everyone worked their butts off today and WE'RE SO PROUD OF ALL OF YOU!!*
