A couple of weeks ago, Jere, Josh, and Lydia stepped away from the office for a little team-building time out on the water.

Between the fresh air, great company, and a few fishing attempts, it was the perfect way to enjoy the outdoors together.

Lydia came up empty-handed that day, so it quickly became an office joke that maybe she just wasn’t capable of catching a fish. 😆

But a week later she proved everyone wrong by reeling one in with her family. Consider the record officially corrected!

Josh Lydia and I recently started reading The Twin Thieves together. We kicked things off outside yesterday in the beautiful courtyard under the sunshine. Not a bad setting for a little team learning ☀️🕶️

One of the most rewarding parts of building Northern Way has been investing in the next generation of leaders and creating space for thoughtful conversations, shared growth, and continued development.

I’m excited for what the future holds for Josh and Lydia, and grateful for the opportunity to keep growing together as a team.

We’re excited to welcome Josh Heuss to the Northern Way team!

Josh recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point with a degree in Finance, where he was also a member and captain of the wrestling team. Between that and spending his summers commercial salmon fishing in Cordova, Alaska, it’s safe to say Josh knows a thing or two about hard work, discipline, and showing up when it matters.

Josh will be working closely with our advisory team to support clients through thoughtful planning and personalized service.

Outside of work, Josh and his wife, Brooke, love to travel, spend time outdoors, and stay active in their church community. He’s also a big fan of hunting, fishing, fitness, and time with family and friends.
