Hollow Flowers

I've been writing different taglines on my guitar before each show lately, and last weekend, I had the idea that this would be a good time to reference the TV show that has gotten me through winter. I'm sure it seems kinda lame but my mental health and personal life have been pretty brutal lately so escaping through a TV show has been amazing tbh. It's also given me a billion outfit ideas, cause there are countless iconic looks. I'm pretty sure 2010's fashion (and music for that matter) will always be my favorite, so watching a show that combines the two is perfect. I'm not quite done with the whole series but I can't wait for the rest. If it isn't obvious, I don't watch TV too often, so being like 15 years behind with TV and movies is basically right on track for me, haha.

I originally thought the tagline would be kinda funny and also a shout out cause I love the show. Sadly, only a few days later, I read online that Michelle Trachtenberg tragically passed away. I decided to keep the tagline but now hopefully it'll be a little tribute from a fan. I wasn't aware of her medical issues and can't even imagine what going through them must have been like, especially since she was so young. It was heartwarming seeing others from the show post nice things about her online and I wish all the best to anyone who was close to her.

I'm hoping I can channel some Georgina Sparks energy into our set tomorrow night. We'll be opening the show with and rounding out the bill. And, as an added surprise, visuals will be provided by throughout the show to make things look epic. If I can get them printed in time, we'll have some brand new posters along with us and we're looking forward to seeing everyone and finally coming out of hibernation.
