A 13 month sentence is a significant milestone and a powerful step in the right direction. It sends a clear message that animal abuse and neglect are serious crimes that will not be tolerated, and those who inflict suffering on innocent lives will be held accountable.

But - lets be clear.

There are NO winners in a case like this.

No sentence can erase the fear, pain, hunger, neglect, or suffering these animals endured.

No amount of time can give them back what was taken from them.

Our hearts remain with every animal that suffered in her care — those who survived, those still healing, and those who never had the chance. 💔

Sarah does it again!! 💜

WELCOME HOME - ANGEL BAGEL!! 🎉

Angel Bagel, a dog from Fairfax County Animal Shelter, escaped during an adoption trial on July 8th and had been on the run since.

On July 22nd - Sarah stepped in.

The first priority wasn’t setting a trap — it was getting the word out. A brand-new flyer was created, and an incredible team of volunteers hit the streets, hanging countless flyers throughout the area. Within hours, the phone started ringing. More sightings came in than had been received in weeks because people finally knew to look.

Using every confirmed sighting from July 8th until now, Sarah mapped Angel’s travel pattern, identified the location she believed Angel would return to, and set the trap last night.

⭐️- 5️⃣ hours later, Angel walked right in!🎉

💜 Gratitude - A word that never feels big enough for what Sarah does. Time and time again, she shows up for scared, lost dogs with endless patience, unwavering dedication, and a heart that refuses to quit. WE ALL THANK YOU - SARAH!!!!🙏🏻💜
