A great day for a junior golf tournament! 🏌️‍♀️⛳️ We had 29 participants for the annual Garrett E. Ramos Foundation Tournament. Congratulations to age group winners!

Congratulations to Emerald Hill Senior Lincoln Highway WINNERS!!

The Sixth Annual Senior Lincoln Highway Golf Tournament was held May 16/17. Play Saturday was at Shady Oaks in Amboy and Sunday was hosted by Lost Nation of Dixon.

Emerald Hill held a 7-stroke lead over a very good Deer Valley team as many players had difficulty maneuvering around the narrow and penal doglegs of Shady Oaks. The day ended with Paul Heflin tied at +17 with returning 2-time medalist Rick Kohler of Indian Oaks. John Miller (+11) and Gregg Petrosky (+13) also played very well.

Day two saw much higher overall scoring on a more forgiving Lost Nation course, and the Emerald Hill team held for a 12-stroke victory over Deer Valley.

Heflin and Kohler finished regulation tied again, this time at +19. Both players parred the first playoff hole, as a large group of interested onlookers followed. Heflin would birdie the par 5 eight hole to earn medalist honors and become a medalist of both the Lincoln Highway and the Senior Lincoln Highway.

Skins were won by Miller (2), Hargrave, Melendres, and Heflin.

Emerald Hill has won the Senior Lincoln Highway four of the six years it has been played. (2022,2023,2025,2026) Sunset won in 2021 and Indian Oaks in 2024.
