{Sid & Rod}

Meet Sid and Roderick!
This adorable bonded pair will be available soon for adoption through Tigerlily Cat Rescue!
Sid (buff) and Roddy (dark orange) are almost 4 months old and came to the rescue as tiny bottle babies. Roddy was found outside just a few days old covered in maggots inside and out, and it is a miracle he even survived. He has finally started his vaccines and is being neutered on Thursday, along with having an umbilical hernia repaired. He's a super outgoing and active boy with a gorgeous classic tabby bullseye pattern on his side!
Sid is one of a litter of three kittens found at approx 2 weeks old. He was lethargic and not feeding well the first few days after rescue, but he perked up quickly. Sid had multiple bouts with urinary tract infections and eventually suffered a complete urethral blockage from blood, crystals, and mucus. He was hospitalized for 9 days and saw the internal medicine specialists. They determined that he not only has a narrow and malpositioned urethra, but his bladder does not contract on its own. He is on several medications three times per day to keep it emptying appropriately, requires bladder expression at times, and he is scheduled to see the urinary surgeons at MSU Small Animal Clinic in early December. Despite his urinary issues, Sid is a loving and outgoing little cuddler with the loudest purr motor around!
These two are highly bonded to the point Rod will cry out when he can't find Sid. While Sid was hospitalized, Roddy barely ate and rarely moved from the couch. Because of this, they are looking for a home together.
