Who remembers this blast from the past? That’s my foot in my yellow croc Ferrini boots, outside the tack room at Para Hevea in Molalla, Oregon 15 years ago. I’d just gotten done riding my horse. I had recently designed and made this pair of spur straps for myself a few months prior. I had a habit of sh0tgunning my jeans back then (in my defense, I lived in Oregon, there was a lot of mud and tucking jeans into your boots was practical, okay? 😂) and wanted a neato pair of spur straps to show off. These were big and obnoxious and I loved them. I leaned over and took this picture on an iPhone 4 and rotated the picture right side up. I wasn’t sure if they would sell, but I figured I’d make a few more and see. They sold. Very well. I took several hundred pairs to NFR in 2012 and came home with none. And then they got copied the world over, sea to shining sea and beyond, for many years. And then the trend kinda faded and I quit making them. The end.

Apologies if posting this photo reignites the worldwide “belt style spur straps” craze 🤪

Happy customer pic! This quick change black and leopard headstall and matching black reins look amazing on this guy! I love these headstalls because they’re convenient and the pineapple knots add a little extra pizazz 🤩 This particular headstall has short cheeks, engineered for gag bits to keep the buckles low on the horse’s face. Thank you Bar None Performance Horses ❤️
