📍 Glorious Way Ranch – Stephenville, TX

Glorious Way Ranch is looking to add reliable, hardworking help to our team! This position can be either full-time or part-time, depending on availability and fit.

We are a horse boarding facility and home to GW Performance Horses, located just 5 minutes from the Tarleton rodeo complex.

We’re looking for someone who is:
• Dependable and trustworthy
• Comfortable handling horses and working around livestock
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented and not afraid of hard work
• Able to lift 50+ lbs

Responsibilities may include:
• Feeding and caring for horses
• Turning out/bringing in horses
• Stall cleaning and general barn upkeep
• Basic horse handling (haltering, grooming, doctoring if needed)
• Assisting with daily ranch operations

Requirements:
• Horse experience is a must
• Experience hauling a trailer preferred
• Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation

💰 Pay starts at $14/hour (based on experience)

As we approach the holiday season, we'd like to share a heartwarming tribute to an unforgettable friend. Behold, Big Sam's last holiday pictures.

For those who didn't have the pleasure of meeting him, let us introduce you to Big Sam, the embodiment of Glorious Way Ranch's spirit. Big Sam belonged to the Gray family, who owns GWR, and he called the ranch his home for the last 8 years.

Big Sam had an extraordinary aura that radiated joy, making everyone smile. He would warmly greet everyone who visited the ranch, whether it was their first or fifth time, and he was always thrilled to make new friends. This gentle giant was renowned for being 'that big black horse out front!' as well as for his exceptionally kind and gentle nature. Sam would roam the ranch, interacting with the other horses and barn dogs, spreading love and warmth wherever he went. Sam witnessed the ranch's growth, felt the love and dedication that went into it over the last 8 years, and was always there for everyone.

Sadly, Sam's time on this earth came to an end on November 25, 2025. He was 22 years old.

Although his physical presence is no longer with us, his spirit lives on, and his legacy continues to inspire us. As we navigate the holiday season without him, we ask that you shower your horses with extra love and affection. Happy holidays, everyone!
