Why should you donate to Wendy’s Place Cat Rescue on this ? Little Charlie Chaplin here is just one of the many cats your donations have helped in the past. Charlie was never meant to live beyond 3 months old, yet here he is at 2 1/2 years old showing no signs of slowing down! We never would have been able to provide Charlie with top of the line care if it wasn’t for our supporters. It was truly only through your donations that we were able to save him.

Charlie was found on a road as a very sick kitten and brought to us. Testing positive for both FIV and FeLV he was literally hours away from death when we raced him to a specialist and opted to do a blood transfusion to buy him more time. (For more specific details click .) Charlie fully recovered and now tests NEGATIVE for FeLV. He’s still FIV+. He is truly our miracle kitten.
