Didn’t plan to post but being a messy (alive) human feels good today. Took me a few tries but I finally crawled (sometimes literally) my way back to one year of continuous sobriety. One day, one milkshake at a time.
Recovery is hella hard but it’s important to remember that it’s even harder on the people closest to you.

Is that still a thing? My dear friend from high school days, Carlos, recently sent me some pics from then. I believe this was at a venue called Phillips Emporium in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania for a songwriter event. One of my earlier gigs when I was 16.
I assure you I was the only kid in Beaver Springs with a “Question Authority” shirt. Lots of the songs then went on “Truckload of Philosophers”
