Poole Anderson Construction

Over the last few years, Poole Anderson Construction has taken tremendous strides on implementing Lean Practices throughout our organization. We’ve seen tremendous impacts across all of our projects using some of the techniques of Lean, particularly with the Last Planner System. We are not experts, but we are continuing to learn and improve every day. Last week, we had the opportunity to share LCI’s Last Planner Training Module with the Pennsylvania College of Technology Construction Students to give them exposure to this powerful technique on managing construction schedules. We give thanks to the Lean Construction Institute and The Lean Builder for their help on our Lean Journey.

Recently, our team had the opportunity to host residents of Penn State's Engineering "E" House for a behind-the-scenes look at the ongoing work inside McKee Hall. Centered around the theme “What’s Behind the Wall?”, the walkthrough gave students a firsthand perspective on the building systems, coordination, and construction processes that develop their everyday environment.
