𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐚𝐊𝐃𝐏𝐡𝐢: I was drawn to the sisterhood and closely knitted friendships in aKDPhi. Another reason is that ever since I moved from New York to Philadelphia, I lost a lot of friends who shared the same cultural experiences as me, and I felt more distant from the Asian community and my own Asian background (although I did gain many precious friendships along the way with diverse groups of people). Therefore, I wanted to join an inclusive community where we can celebrate each other’s heritage and promote Asian awareness.
