📚 🍎 It's that time of year again!

Our office is partnering with the State College YMCA and Centre County Pearls for our annual Back-To-School Drive! Last year, we helped provide hundreds of local students with backpacks and supplies. And we couldn’t have done it without you.

This summer, we will be collecting new school supplies until August 4th. If you have any questions, please call us at 814-308-0569 or swing by our office at 216 W. Hamilton Ave in State College.

I’m happy to announce that Centre County Recycling and Refuse Authority has been awarded a $75,000 grant from the PA Department of Environmental Protection to support the development of a new regional glass recycling operation in Centre County ♻

This funding will support planning and engineering work needed to expand glass recycling efforts and repurpose specialized processing equipment. Once operational, the project will help recover and recycle more glass from communities across the multi-county region.

Investments like this strengthen our recycling capacity, reduce waste, and support a more sustainable future for our communities. I couldn’t be more grateful for the important work CCRRA does every day.
