New abstract work! The looser, oilbased abstractions come from a completely different place than my figurative work. The abstracts emerge when I work without a drawing or any planned structure at all. They’re a refreshing respite from the more intricate, drawingbased pieces and allow me to create purely from instinct and emotion.
