Phew! That was a doozy.

If I had to sum up 2021 for me and most of my friends, colleagues, and clients in one word it would be

HARD

After running the gauntlet of 2020 many of us hoped 2021 would be easy peasy lemon squeezy but it actually turned out to be difficult difficult lemon difficult.

You feel like you should be looking at 2022 with optimism and anticipation.

And what you really feel is

Tired
Frustrated
Uncertain

That’s okay

Because this is what hard does for you when you’re not looking

It builds resilience
It creates inner strength
It forces you to focus on what’s important

And it makes you grow

It’s certainly not the most fun way to get there but it is pretty darn effective

So celebrate your strength
Learn from last year
Play to your strengths
