REAL LIFE Self-Defense We like to believe we can handle ourselves when faced with an attacker. It's not a situation anyone wants to think about, but we like to think we could protect ourselves when a thug thrusts a knife in your face or pushes a gun into your chest.

I think it's time we, the people, realize that simply owning a gun for our protection is not enough. A responsible gun owner will know that with owning a gun there is great responsibility. What is it that keeps us from training? What is it that makes us think we can pull the trigger when the time comes? You may be surprised to know that owning a gun is not going to save you or your family. Knowing how to use it and use it wisely will.
