Fort Bend County has partnered with Attack Poverty to open a cooling center at our Friends of North Rosenberg location this Friday (June 19th) from 12 PM to 6:00 PM to provide a safe, cool place for neighbors in need.

Attack Poverty values its longstanding partnership with Fort Bend County's Office of Emergency Management. The County's Cooling Center will provide safety and support for all of our community members.

Friends of North Rosenberg

Meet Marzio. After moving to Texas to be closer to his daughter, Marzio worked tirelessly to rebuild his life. Even while facing homelessness, he maintained full-time work and utilized our local resources to stay on track. This past month, his resilience was rewarded: he received a raise, was approved for a housing voucher, and thanks to community donations, his new 2-bedroom apartment is fully furnished! 🏠❤️ Next up, he’s joining a Faith & Finances class to keep building a sustainable future for his family.
