Sermon Notes 📖John 5:1-9 ESV

Jesus heals a paralyzed man at the Pool of Bethesda in Jerusalem.

Verses 8-9
Then Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.” At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked.

So often we get comfortable with our “mats.” We wait for perfect conditions, the right person to help or a magical moment to change our circumstances.

Our miracles are in the Savior who is already standing with us.

Get up! Shake off the past.
Let’s step into the healing & freedom that He has for us.
