I made my first batch of soap in almost 5 years! This is a simple lard and coconut soap with bacon FO. I made as a request from some of the chefs at work.

The stars of this treat are mango butter, Shea butter, cocoa butter and jojoba oil. For the scalp and body!

My work in progress. Olive oil and Shea butter pink salt bars. It is so hard waiting to remove them from their moulds! This batch is a special request and a one off. I am not likely to make it again.

100% coconut oil laundry stain sticks! I was skeptical about using an alkali based soap on my clothes but it got cherry stains out of my white pants!

Olive oil and cocoa butter, aloe juice, peppermint essential oil, vitamin e oil and coffee grounds.

So I made an olive and canola oil soap about 2 weeks ago. While it lathers beautifully, I think I let it sit too long while it firmed up! Crumbly soap.... Back to the pot for rebatching! I won't wait so long next round to cut!

I haven't been able to make soap for a while. I've been rearranging my soap room. I hope to be done with the room soon and back in full swing ready to SPRING into.... Well.... SPRING! In the mean time, here is a mini batch of charcoal and colloidal oats vegan soap. Coconut oil, olive oil, Shea butter and cocoa butter fragrance is peppermint essential oil. Now for the 4-6 week cure!
