Promise Community Homes' highly skilled Maintenance Team recently replaced a patio door at one of our properties, home to five residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities, improving both its appearance and, more importantly, its safety and functionality.

The new door creates a secure, weather-tight seal that helps protect the home from moisture, improves energy efficiency, and provides a stronger barrier against the elements. Plus, sidelight windows add the perfect finishing touch to polish off the new look!

It's one of the many ways our team works hard everyday to ensure every Promise resident has a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained place to call home for life.

Trivia Night: Disco Edition is presented by Central Bank of St. Louis and Window World of St. Louis

Thank you, Matt Elmore, from Promise Community Homes (PCH), for joining DD Resources for the June Board meeting.

He shared that 84 homes in the metro area currently serve individuals with IDD through partnerships with 13 Independent Supported Living Assistance providers.

During his presentation, he spoke to the lack of accessible housing for City residents and their goal to play a role in providing more options in the future.

Today, June 26, is National Take Your Dog to Work Day! This day just so happens to fall on PCH's Dog Days of Summer, where PCH staff bring their own dogs to the office every Friday during summer. Today's special guest is Sadie, the pup of our Director of Development, Gabrielle Grundy-Lester.
