After reaching the age of 75, Pope Leo has accepted the resignation of Denver Archbishop Samuel Aquila, one of the most respected bishops in the United States, known for prioritizing evangelization and fostering priestly vocations. This academic year, more than 20 men have begun formation for the priesthood in the Archdiocese of Denver—the largest class in recent memory, according to the archdiocese.
