We’re excited to be collaborating with Custom Foodscaping on the new food farm at America's Center & The Dome! This spring, all 88 raised beds are starting to come alive with flowers, herbs, vegetables, and fruits—transforming the space into a vibrant, productive landscape.
Earlier this week, our teams met onsite to check on progress and begin addressing some developing stormwater drainage challenges. Stay tuned as the season unfolds!

Before moving into our new office on Folsom Avenue, we needed temporary access while the courtyard was under construction. Inspired by Pittsburgh’s Allegheny Riverfront Park (Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates Inc ), we pressed native plants into the freshly poured concrete for a unique entryway. After a morning of stamping (with only one accidental step into the cement!), we let it dry for three days and power washed it to reveal a one-of-a-kind design. This project was a fun way to involve our team and build excitement for our new space. Stay tuned for more updates and photos from our office move!

Big things are happening on Cherokee Street! We’re excited to kick off a new project with South Side Spaces and Nebula to revamp an alleyway running parallel to Jefferson and Texas Ave. Our first step is conducting a site analysis, where we’ll assess the space’s constraints and how people move through it. This is an important part of the planning process to ensure we design a space that serves the community’s needs. This project is a great opportunity to turn underutilized space into something special for everyone. Stay tuned for more updates as we bring this vision to life!

Join us tomorrow night, as Principal Joel Fuoss presents "The Reawakening of a Giant: The Butler Brothers Building Reimagined,” as part of the 2025 Society of Architectural Historians St. Louis Chapter/Steedman Library Lecture Series at the St. Louis Public Library.

Our downstairs neighbor, Trivers will explore how a century-old warehouse (wink, wink) was reimagined through a careful balance of preservation and transformation.

Congratulations to Ruoyi Peng on her licensure and elevation to Landscape Architect in the state of Missouri! Since joining Arbolope this past fall, Ruoyi has already played a key role in both our watershed restoration work and as lead for our upcoming work on the Mississippi Greenway for Great Rivers Greenway. With a Master of Landscape Architecture from Louisiana State University and years of professional experience, Ruoyi brings valuable expertise and a deep passion for sustainable, ecologically thoughtful design. Her attention to detail, knowledge, and sense of humor have quickly become invaluable to the team. We’re excited to see the amazing work Ruoyi will continue to help create. Congratulations, Ruoyi!
