How Did You Meet:We knew of each other from World Wide Technology, where we both work. I work in the office and Steve works in our lab. In 2009 at an Ugly Sweater Christmas party with work, we officially met each other because he was wearing a really funny light up sweater and I was giving him trouble. We began talking randomly at work here and there. My Brother Adam, also worked in the lab with Steve. They became buddies and started hanging out a lot so Steve was over the house and out with us a lot more. In July 2010 Steve came on a Ozarks trip with us and we officially started dating during that trip..

Engagement Story:Originally Steve was going to propose on the beach in Florida the week after Easter, After thinking a lot about this, Steve changed his mind the Wednesday before Easter Sunday. I woke up Easter morning to a basket with eggs and a shirt. I almost got mad because we usually talk about this because he has a 4 year old. I didn't make him a basket. His Daughter Ava looked at him and Said "Daddy, why didn't the Easter bunny bring you a basket?" (This is why we always try to stay on the same page. ) He covered for me and said he already opened his basket. He started videoing me opening my basket and I still had NO idea what was coming. I opened everything and left the big egg for last. After opening I found the beautiful box and knew right away it was happening. I found an amazing ring, the video he took shows me trying not to cry. I then got to spend Easter with my families and show them all before leaving for Florida, it worked out great!

Other Comments:Currently we live together in a small house with my dog and his daughter who we raise together, we have her part time. We have worked together since we met and continue to work more closely on different programs. We are about to move into our second home together. Both of my little brothers are getting married in May and June of 2014 and then we will begin to plan our wedding for 2015. We cannot wait to start this new chapter in our lives. I personally cannot thank Mike George enough for the help he gave Steve to make my ring so elegantly.
