Incarnate Word Foundation

Last month, we lost Sr. Annette Pezold, CCVI, the Incarnate Word Foundation’s praying sister.
Sr. Annette had a close connection to the Foundation, serving on our Board and, after retirement, volunteering for several years. During her time with us, she was a sparkling presence in the office, helping with many tasks and serving as our unofficial horticulturalist. She particularly enjoyed orchids, Christmas cactus, and anything that bloomed.
Sr. Annette brought gifts of practical wisdom, a quick wit, and thoughtfulness. Even after moving to San Antonio, she stayed in touch and took a real interest in our work. We were always in her prayers.
We miss her deeply and hold her family in our prayers.
