St. Louis Folk & Roots Festival

The Blue Canyon Boys are equal parts purists and innovators. When it comes to bluegrass, they stay true to the form’s roots while constantly reimagining their relationship to tradition.

Tomorrow, they bring their high-energy bluegrass to The Stage at KDHX as featured artists at the St. Louis Folk and Roots Festival. As part of the event, the band will perform a special live broadcast on 'Down Yonder' with Keith Dudding.

Every year, as part of St. Louis Folk and Roots Festival's uniquely interactive character, we partner with the Folk School of KDHX and the featured performers to present a series of music workshops.

We are excited to announce that the 2019 selections include a clawhammer banjo class with Evie Ladin / Band and various bluegrass intensives with members of the Blue Canyon Boys. Packages for the 7th Annual St. Louis Folk and Roots Festival go on sale this Friday, December 7, at 10 a.m. The festival returns to Grand Center March 21-23.
