All American In-Line Hockey

As many of our players, teams and All American family members are heading into Nationals time- I thought I’d share my most favorite game ever. And not because they won, but HOW they won. They practiced, they respected the words TEAMWORK, they liked one another, they had FUN, and in the end they won because they believed in one another. The parents came together to support, not tear apart a team or club. The coaches gave way more than they received.

The honor was all mine to watch this come together and to celebrate one of the best TEAMS in roller. Now, these same kids are getting married , are married, chasing bigger dreams, and have kids of their own. I’m sure this memory is one they will never forget either.

So- as you sit through the upcoming games, remember what the game is all about. It’s not about the final score- it’s so much bigger than that. Be present, be supportive and don’t take these moments for granted. Good luck to all the players and teams participating in the upcoming weeks. And always- be a good teammate, and BELIEVE.

Congratulations to our new Wednesday C Champions, All Americans Rejects a.k.a. AAR! The Rejects found themselves down late in the third to the top seeded High Rollers. They dug deep in their emptied tanks and found a little muster and fireworks before claiming the title. Nice work AAR!!
