Hello lovelies! I hope that you are enjoying this spectacularly beautiful spring weather we are experiencing this weekend! I have a couple of updates to fill you in on.

1. We will NOT be open for meal pick-up on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. Due to the holiday weekend we won't be able to get the supplies and prepare for a pick-up, so instead I will be taking time off to tend to my garden - I am growing a variety of edible flowers for our meal programs this summer!

2. Due to the holiday break next week, we are amending some details of ordering this week. We have added brownies (pans and 3-packs) as well as Monster Cookie Take 'n Bake Dough and Cookie 3-packs. You've got to have your healthy treats available to you over the holiday break, so know that the brownies do freeze well and the cookie dough is good for several weeks in your refrigerator. If you have already placed an order and want me to prepare some cookies or brownies for you, just reply to this email and you can submit payment at pick-up.

3. Lastly, due to the holiday break coming up, we are going to accommodate as many orders as possible for this coming week. That means we are extending the ordering deadline until Sunday evening for anyone that hasn't yet gotten orders in.

If you have any special requests for the upcoming menu, please do not hesitate to ask! I love to feed you and aim to please.

P.S. The "Birthday Salad" this week is named so because I created for myself on my birthday last month. I am excited to be procuring micro-greens from Anne's Roots, a locally owned grower. You can get sprouts from Anne's Roots at the U-City Farmers Market on Saturdays, and maybe I will see you there!
